Past Experience
Mr. Deverich began his legal career as an attorney working for the Orange County office of Latham & Watkins, where he practiced in the corporate and real estate departments. In 1989, he left to join the real estate department of Morrison & Foerster's Orange County office, and in 2001, he founded Deverich & Gillman LLP. Before law school, from 1980 to 1983, Mr. Deverich was employed by the international accounting firm of Arthur Andersen & Co. and worked in the tax department of that firm's Orange County office. He was licensed by the State of California in 1982 as a CPA
Education
Mr. Deverich earned his law degree from Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California at Berkeley in 1986, where he was elected to the of the Order of the Coif, and graduated in the top 10% of his class. He received a B.S. degree with a double major in Accounting and Finance, cum laude, from Brigham Young University in 1980. He speaks fluent Japanese
